Question Luggage Rack to fit existing sissy bar?

I currently have the Gasbox Sissy Bar mounted on my motorcycle, but I'd like to add a small rack on the back side. Seen a few options, but not sure of fitment with the existing bar. I'd rather not purchase a new bar and rack.

Any recommendations?

Some times a man has to do what a man has to do! I see a new bar and rack in your near future. Your current rack doesn't look very robust, to take the added strain of a rack, so what do you plan fixing to it?

The rack is pretty durable, or at least it has been so far. I travel with a medium sized dry bag with my gear and then on the back side of the bar I strap down my Redverz tent in a 50L dry bag. It holds both, but the bag sits right on the fender and stresses it out a bit as well as rubs quite a bit.

50litre bag? Crikey - that could easily weigh quite a bit. Have you looked into a fender-mounted rack, to fit in front of your sissybar, to take the weight of that bag? Your sissybar could stop it sliding off rearwards.

Well, the bag doesn't weigh that much! Thankfully. I've looked at a few options, but certainly not the entirety. My RSD seat does extend a bit further than the stock on the fender which makes it tough to design too.

Ideally if something could mount to the fender and sit behind the sissy bar, I think I'd be in business.

Our sissy bars are pretty similiar, i have a pretty tall bar as i do alot of touring on my sportie, last year my wife got me a HD rack that mounts to the rear fender(where my seat also bolts to) and then on the outside of the fender mounts?

Rack says it holds 10lbs, but my seabag for cross country was easily over 30lbs.

Is that the Chopped Fender Rack?

That was the one I was thinking might work, but hadn't seen many details. Glad to see someone has found it worked!

After review, it is the chop fender rack!
This was our cross country set up! That rack did a great job holding all our junk. No bagger needed.

I ended up getting a custom sissy bar by an individual from Utah named Edward Richie. I got the traveler style with a custom design to match the rest of the bike.

I am much happier with this set up. It's one piece versus two. And this thing is solid AF.

If you're looking for a one piece sissy bar with bag brace check out https://www.etsy.com/shop/EdwardRichie
