G'day,
I've narrowed the field to just 2.... and only 2 ...... but which is best, (incl passenger opinion)?
I'd be gratefull for some opinions. We Aussies do BIG mileage, but decided not to sit on a "pillow" this time round.
Mustang makes a good aftermarket seat for long rides, I am not sure of the price comparison in those 2 particualr seats but if the HD is higher I would go with Mustang unless HD will match the price,lol... I have owned one or 2 Harleys and there seats are the first thing that goes, well there pipes are first then the seat. I have a mustand solo with passenger pillion on one of my bikes and the back support and long haul ride is very comfortable. good luck, mojo
I have the day tripper and love it. I went from a badlanders and it was a little taller but alot more comfortable. The passenger pad is also as thick as the drivers part.
Thanks, and a question for HD2000...... Is the daytripper a little lower and further back than the standard FXDI stock solo like the
HD product? And thanks for the photo, this is the first time I've acually seen it on a bike! The rallyrunner is 8 inches wide, what
about the mustang .... is it "just the right width" also?
I'm not sure how it compares to the stock FXDI but it does sit a little further back then the badlanders. I'm also not quite sure what the width is but it is by far the most comfortable seats i have ridden on.
