High beam headlight useless now

I'll try and take a look at the light. I'd be pissed if it is the bulb, it's brand new. I did get it in a two pack for $18 from Amazon, but it should work.
I'll reinstall the stock one and give it a try.
Anyone else think the headlight ring on the Dyna's is an extreme PITA to get back on, and off?
