WOW!!! I finally got to start my bike with the new Fatcat on it and it sounds awesome!!! My winter mods have been taking forever (funds and an unexpected move slowed things down). But finally got the tank back on and the fluids topped off last night. Now all I need is my new rear pulley to get here and I am back in business. Can't wait to hear that thing opened up on the road. New pics to follow soon of course.
Fatcats do sound pretty good. If/when I get tired of my thunderheader I'm probably gonna put a set of fatcats on. How long did you wait before finally starting your bike? If it's more than a minute, what strong self-control you have. lol
Cramil,
Any engine mods while you're at it? Standard or Q baffle? I love my fatcat!
Mike
Got the standard baffle. Haven't broken into the engine yet but I added a Doherty A/C and a TMax w/Auto Tune as well. Might do some cams in the near term, but I am just looking to put miles on her as is now.

Cool! Rog on putting some miles on her. Especially now that riding season is officially here! If you crack the motor later and go BB and cams, be ready for a surprise. That standard baffle goes from bark to
BARK!
It puts a smile on my face every time I ride it!
Ride safe and lets see some pics when you get it all done!
Holy Crap you are brave!!! is your bike resting on only those three jack stands? My friend you are a brave man.
Yep. And it is rock steady. I sit on it all the time with no problems. Believe me if it wasn't stable I wouldn't leave it up there, but they work great. I guess I could add a 4th but it isn't really needed. Probably as stable or better than a jack as it doesn't roll. The front stands have a pretty deep "cup" to them and they fit the frame tubes well. I'll take some close-up pics of the set-up.
