Well, with stock bars on mine, 4.5' was easy but a little tight for brake line, I had to take it off the clip and bend it slightly and reattach it differently, don't think I could have gone much higher without +2" on the brake line. The rest would probably be OK.
Would you mind posting some sideview pictures of your dyna with the 4.5" risers? I'm thinking about your suggestion...
I have a 09 super glide custom and I am having a hard time finding dragbars for it. I talked with demon cycles and they said they had no drag bars to fit a 09. I want 6inch risers with drags. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
Sorry, no pics yet spent the few days that have been nice riding but if you go to wild one's website they have pics of the bars installed on different bikes
Did you need new cables and wires with your mini apes?
For the stock streetbob/wideglide mini apes, I needed new cables but not wires. When I then installed the fat mini apes I had to wire in 8" extensions, as I ran the wires internally. EDIT: Also the fat bar risers were another 2" taller than stock....
The streetbob takeoff cables/brake line still work, but just barely. I plan on buying a new set of Barnett platinums later this spring / early summer.

How did the installation go with your new risers and bar?
A couple of issues nothing major and you can see a crappy sideview picture on my link of the stock bars w/ 4.5" risers...
Cable for speedo was a tad short, needed to be lengthened, clutch cable is too long, but I'll live with it for now, now I'm going to take it all back apart and internally wire it and relocate the turn signals.I wanted to put a little mileage on before and make sure I liked drag bars w/ 6" riers, I have 37" arms and they fit perfectly, love the change.
I would like to thank everyone for this thread. I have been wanting to do this to my 08 FXDC. This has been a great source of info. for me. Thanks for the links.

madden23 - did you have straight or pullback risers? You've convinced me that risers are easier than new handle bars, but being 6'3" with 35" arms, I'm not sure about pullback or straight.
