I drilled my new handle bars and the chrome is now peeling off. Can someone recommend a place to get them chromed properly and promptly? I live in NJ but don’t care if they need to be ship.
google local vintage bumper repair places in your area... the guy that does my chromeing does bumper and door handles for GM... he just lets me slip stuff in ever once in a while... not lately though with the econimy... sucks he is not such a happy camper lately or i would just have you send them to me and i would do them for you... hell man 1/2 the time if you do not have a hook up it is cheaper to buy new bars then it is to re chrome... you know me man! there is alwyas powder coat!
Was thinking about new bars but I love the way these feel and look, got them at a show for 40. Hate to order bars kind of like the touch factor when I get stuff like this. Thanks for the advice.

Try www.brownsplating.com. I sent my exhaust bracket & triple trees to them over the winter and would recommend them 100%. The quality is top notch and turnaround was about 3 weeks. Like others said though, it might be cheaper just buying new bars. Chrome isn't cheap!
