Haha, that's funny. My indy installed my mags for me and told me I was going to have to get the sliders chromed.

Thanks for the tips. Still don't follow it completely and I don't know what other parts and stuff I would need to do this besides the sliders themselves. I assume I have to replace the fork oil. What about the seals and stuff? Is there a parts list?

If you buy the front end kit (what I got) it has everything you need plus extras (Sliders, axle nut covers, Chrome spacers, Chrome Fork nut covers, new seals) except fork oil. You need 2 quarts, you wont use it all but 1 is not enough.

If you just picked up the sliders somewhere then you just need the the new seals as well. There have been several kits on ebay for under $200 lately. Got mine for a $150 buy it now.
