pc v installed

just installed my new fuel moto pc v.... and i still have a lot of sharp sounding decel pops. could this be an exhaust leak from the gaskets that kicked my butt or is this just the thundeheader?

I have short shots SE stage 1 ac and map 15-005-020 installed. No popping what so ever. I had that popping problem on my sporty with the fuelpak and was told that it could be a leak at the headers so this time I snugged up the nuts on the head and left the mounting bolts last no leak this time so I am guessing that could have been the problem. I would check that.

I have the thunderheader with the pc V and i still have some pops but not near as bad as it was without the pc V. I am going to call fuelmoto and talk with them about it maybe they can send me a different map.

If the "new" map does,nt work and it can be a bit hit and miss, hell two bkes with the same setup can run differently. You could do a lot worse and seek out a good dyno tuner in your area ( you might find one on the forum ). Then you will know your bike is set to run at its best, and when it is, its a lot of peace of mind. Plus it will pull harder and smoother from much lower than stock, it really is worth it.
