+1 on exhaust leak, check around where the muffler clamps on to the head pipe. I had mine clamped down properly and still had alittle leak so I put red high temp silicone on there and that solved the leak.
The forum had me convinced it was my gaskets, so much so I replaced them twice. Ended up being the map. The thunderheader map sent by Jamie gave me popping on decel. The D&D fatcat map solved it for me. Might be worth a try.
Can you manually adjust your maps like a Power Vision or TTS???
If so, try lowering A/F ratio (richen) under the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) kpa values in the 20kpa or lower columns, in the rpm areas you are having popping. This will get rid of it while still maintaining the rest of your tune. These motors idle in the 30kpa range so lowering idle A/F ratios will not help. When you let off throttle, your MAP values drop under the 30kpa, typically 20kpa or less, and this is when you are getting popping because your bike is probably at the stock 14.6 (closed loop) A/F ratio.
If I remember right the tables are alittle different they go off % of throttle. I think you fatten it up in the 0% throttle position to get rid of decel pop.
so i am gonna try a different map the fat cat one. also still gottta wait for mount but. when i plug mine in my lab top i dont get rpm or anything on the screen so i dont know if everything is correct . it mainly only pops now if i rev like 3-4 times then let down slow. not blue flame its orange.
