I am looking to purchase some new slipons and was
just curious as to what slip ons people have put on their bobs. Also the price paid for them.
If I do get slipons but hold off on the new ac for now, do I need to do anything else, or is okay to just put slipons on? thanks
Cycle Shack slip-ons sound really good, a deep rumble as compared to the SE's and are cheaper going for around $150 a pair.
I put those on my 2001 Superglide w/carb and rode it that way for a couple hundred miles and no popping or backfires before I changed out the air cleaner to a A.N. Big Sucker. Once you change the air cleaner you will need to get a download or something along those lines depending what you want to spend.

I bought a set of Dyno Power slipon's from J&P Cycles. I paid $117.40 after S&H. They look just like the factory tapered slipon's. I don't know how they sound just yet since my 06 FXDI wont be in until May, 12th, but I have been told they have a good sound. I bought them since the V&H Big Radius that I really want is still on backorder, and I didnt want my Harley sounding like a honda.
I put Cycle Shack slip-on mufflers on my new FXDI35 and also the Stage 1 with download. Bike sounds great, runs great. As I recall, the dealership charged me under 200 bucks for the mufflers.......tapered units to look more original. I like 'em.
