I bought a Fulmer before winter to try out and see how I liked the full face. It was cheap but the fit was good. While I still enjoy the half helmet when riding with a group I use the full face more than I thought. I plan to upgrade to a nicer, lighter, and less noisy one soon.
I wear a Shoei Raider II(matt black) in cold weather but seriously thinking to changing to one of these two...The Bandit or Attack full face..think they're both good helmets and cool lookin' : )
I read that HD's ff helmets were made by HJC so I went to the local cyclegear and bought a FF helmet for alot better price. I like the FF helmets because I can put a tinted shield on it and not have to wear sun glasses.
I've had two HJC helmets in the last 10 years. I retired the first one 9 months ago, original face shield and pads. the one I have now fits great and was 89 bucks brand new. Similar to my first one.
Sounds like hjc is the way to go i don't really want to pay 600 + $ for arai or shoei I saw a carbon colored hjc just yesterday but that one was500$ it's matte black counterpart was only 200$ ! wow what a jyp just to be trendy!
Check out the HJC website... several HJC helmets carry the SNELL rating... under or around 200 bucks.
Not sure where these other companies get off charging 600+ for their products.
Kinda reminds me of the joke where the guy knocks on the door of the brothel, and says he wants to get f*ck'd. A voice inside says "slide 200 bucks under the door". So the guy slides 200 bucks under the door, and waits in anticipation.
5 minutes go by, and the guy knocks on the door again.... "Hey, I said I want to get f*cked"....
