I'm glad I found this on the softail forum. This will save me money as I was going to purchase a sissy bar and a new seat but no bags. A Heritage cost 3 grand more than my Fat Bob. But I think the extra cost was in the bags, seat and sissy bar minus the hidden shocks.
I found it interesting to spend extra money just to strip it down later.

It is interesting that some folks are trying to make their baggers look like a Dyna. No different that some Dyna riders putting bags and such on their rides though.
You can't beat all the detach stuff Harley has available. It really does make it like having 2 or 3 different bikes. From stripped down dyna to bags, sissybar, cushy seat for the wife and a windshield in about 5 minutes,
where the hell are you guys getting that they're trying to make their heritages look like a dyna??????? If anything, they're making them look like a fat BOY, not BOB. Just because a bike doesn't have bags or a shield doesn't mean it looks like a dyna. what's the point of this thread?!?!
relax man! I was just pointing to the fact that a lot of money was spent to have a bike purchsed with all the gear then to have it all stripped. Some people need to smoke a j or take some meds and relax on this site..
