Default Neutral light and oil light

When coming to a stop and shutting down the bike I notice that my neutral and oil light don't work. But they do flicker if a put the kick stand down and back up kinda hard (like let the spring tuck it under the bike) Anyone know where these connections are? I will also check the battery connection when I get home. Thanks

the connector should be right inside the neck grommit on the left side of the frame

without looking at the wiring diagram, I do think both of those lights are powered on the same circuit. It is likely a loose connection near the front of the bike or possibly even a loose pin in the plug on the back of the indicator lights/speedo/etc. Oh, and check your fuses! Sometimes the simple things get by us easily.

The connectors are a little deeper than the grommets. You have to access it from the bottom of the neck, right above the front rocker box (06 and newer). Have you washed the bike with a pressure washer recently? If so you may want to unplug the connectors at the sensors and make sure they are clean and dry.

Lorance, that headlight looks great on your bike!
