First off... Hi all! Been lurkin here a while (lurkin sounds much nicer than stalking BTW) and am finally takin the plunge! Hopefully pickin up my Fat Bob Thursday and gettin rid of my Ducati 1098 I'll miss the power of the Duc, but the burnt *** and uncomfortable ride won't be lol
Of course I did the obligatory non-shiney adds (black controls and some accessories) and want to know if there is something I definately should get? Went with V&H pipes and a 412 progressive 11" setup (black of course) in the back. I read about the tank lift and may end up doin that, but anything else?

High flow air cleaner and re-map to complete the Stage 1 would be my next move.
Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the forum. (don't ever talk about waves, chaps, fingerless gloves, harley t-shirts, comparing your HD to a metric, and a few other things.)

Called em back, they are doin the stage 1 too Thanks for the info and the welcome!!
You'll want to get a/c upgrade and tuner to go with those pipes... You happier that way and your bike will love you more....LOOKS LIKE YOU HANDLED THAT ALREADY...
I GUESS... JUST WELCOME TO THE FORUM... AND GET SOME PICS UP STAT!
Not missing anything I know of, other then pics stated above, but on the other hand what you are missing is when you get it take that beast for one hell of a ride Congrats
I would recommend getting the rider's essentials kit from Harley. This is the package of Detachable Windshield, Detachable passenger backrest and a luggage rack.
You may not use them all right away, but eventually you'll want either a T-Bag or some other luggage on the bike. Need a backrest for that, unless you go for saddlebags. Long distance rides are better with a shield, etc...
Also, you didn't mention if you got grips. Stock grips suck.
Edit: Thomaskray is going to get me fired some day! I can't stop staring at his avatars...

Yup! Got the black diamond ones Probably gonna pick up some Silverstar H4's to put on as well, brighter lights are a good thing
I'll post up pics as soon as she is home! I have a few helmets lyin around, but figured one more couldn't hurt and went with the OSBE Tornado for gits and shiggles LOL
You may not have forgotten anything, but I guarantee you'll see a million other cool things you'll just have to have. Welcome to the club. Report ASAP to the FatBob Squadron!
