Yeah, I don’t think ‘cheap’ and Harley really go together…..my lowly Dyna is far from ‘cheap.’ My Nightster was pretty far from ‘cheap’ as well for that matter.

I wish I was told that Dyna's are "CHEAP" before I bought mine. Crap I paid more for mine than I could of paid for a RG, or SG,

The kid's perceptions are likely to persist to adulthood ... regardless of whether formed by his parents ...

It's better to light a candle than to curse the darkness ... I'd just take a moment to test his knowledge and educate him ... not by taking him to the woodshed ... unless he's being a little pr!ck ....

Kids' opinions will get around--whether valid or ill-informed--so, that is probably the better approach ... let him know there's no 'cheap' Harley (and not to 'dis Sportsters either) ...

Now ... knock-off ricer wannabes, on the other hand ... LOL.

Dude ...you got a CVO ... didn't they tell you the "C" in CVO doesn't stand for CHEAP????

There are 'initially less expensive' Harleys, but not many cheap ones. His verbiage needs corrected is all.

Depends on the type of riding you do as to which kind of bike you buy. I don't think a $18K Dyna is cheap! But the again, I think all HD's are over priced!
