all I have to say is if I told someone they had a cheap harley and my dad found out id be toast that's just disrespect your kid should have gave him a slap on the back of the head im only 28 and this is only my second bike (first was a sporty) and my bike is the thing I am most proud of
Yes you pay a premium for a CVO but by the time you buy a bike and than add all the stuff you want (engine, chrome, wheels, and paint) you could have just bought the CVO and have a full warranty and better resale. This is just my opinion.
I wish my Dyna was cheap. Or at least wish the old lady "thought" it was. Then I could spend more money on it!
Personally, I would never rag anyones Harley. Some I like better than others. Some fit me better than others. Its a personal preferance. If they where "cheap" I would probably have a couple more parked next to my WideGlide.
I think I would have just looked at the kid and laughed.

Snoopy,
What you should have told him was what you paid for your Harley was just the "downpayment." All the add-ons after that keep ticking up the price of the machine! The never ending work-in-progess.
