1098, eh? Nice bike! Going to the Harley is going to be a biiiig change, but I suppose you already know that!

Regarding the bolt-on stuff, yeah, you can do it yourself. Pipes, aircleaner, shocks, etc. are all very straightforward things to do. You'll be glad you didn't pay to have them done, IMO. While you can't do the ECU reflash yourself, you can opt to get a Power Commander instead and then download whatever canned map fits your configuration. It probably won't be quite as good as a full-on tune, but neither is the ECU downlad/flash.

If your interested in doing the ECM flash or programming yourself there are alternatives for that too. Eg. SERT/SEST/TTS, check them out in the forum too if your interested in that. I am reprogramming my bike this weekend after installing AC and Pipes.
