Default rear strut question

Hi all
I currently have my strut covers off on my street bob and think the rear signals look like crap...i have the led kury that just snap into exsisting stem and housing...im thinking i need some black leds with shorter stems...any pics out there or any reccomendations?
thanks
J

can you powdercaot the stock signals? If so, how do you get the wires out? I would consider the stock ones mounted without the stems...is that possible?

Default no stems

How did you get the turn signals to face back squarley, without the stems they angle out a bit and look a bit weird?
