Default Rear LED signals

So I just bought a set of Kuryakyn bullets for the rear signals. I really like how they look but might need to get them powder coated black. Anyways, the instructions say I will probalby need a resistor or a load balancer. Has anyone put these on and can lend me some advice as to what I actually need? Thanks

Check out the custom dynamics website. They have all the 411 there.

I have two of them, one for the front and one for the rear. They keep the signals from flashing rapidly as the LED's use less power than the conventional bulbs thus the reason for the load equalizer. If you only have the LED's in the rear I'd get the following:

http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go...ID/85/IMID/757

and follow the installation instructions. You should be fine.

Im running LEDS on the front and the rear. I had a lot of questions and I called Badlands and talked to a tech who was very helpful and told me which product I would need. They also gave me 10% off of the listed price and no shipping fee. I was impressed with their customer service I would call them again if I needed something.

They have a website.

If your just putting them in the rear you may get away without needing a load equalizer.
I put a pair of red LED's (Kuryakyn) into the stock housings and didn't need to use the resistor that came with it.
But if I get another pair for the front I'm probably going to need at least one.

Front and rear LEDs with a load equalizer. Pretty much plug 'n play.

Here are some better ones

I think this coming winter one of my projects, along with the 200, will be getting those things powder coated.
