No fukin way i'd give mine up, my wife told me the other day while we were at the dealer to trade mine in and get SG.......i told her she's out of her mind....i've got my heart and sole in this thing. I will have another bike,but i'll never part with this one. PS: Thats a Bad a$$ BoB

I would keep the Dyna. I think they ride great and wouldnt give mine up. Have you thought about getting an older bagger amd keeping both?

What fairing is it?
Will it be Fixed/Perm?

I do know that if you put on some good shocks (not shortened) and a windshield and a jack's flaps vest you could most likely get the good and comfortable ride for a whole lot less money and it is still your bike, think about that---

You also need a more comfy seat for long distance, that solo won't cut it, or send it Mean City cycles to mod.

So, you built a barhopper...nice looking bike. You can do a detach windshield that way it's still a barhopper when you want and a tourer when you want. You could raise the bike up a little to soften the ride. Maybe 2" drop was too much? Maybe a low profile w/s. Just enough to take the brunt of the wind off your chest.

lol. Been thinking that over myself for a while. Upgrade suspension, add bags, etc. or go bagger. I'm renting a RK this weekend to try out a bagger, maybe you could try renting as well.

Get a new seat. That factory seat is crap. It'll make a world of difference.
