1 month out of warrenty I think the moco should step up,they have been known to do that.call harley service direct on monday morning. "To speak with a Harley-Davidson customer service representative call (414)343-4056."
@ Shred4204 dammitt i had a porous crank case it was leaking by the pushrod housing base, they pulled new cases off the assembly line ,numbered them with my ser. and slapped those on! no new motor even though I asked!!! Can'y really complain I suppose, they don't leak at all now.

Is it seepage or a leak? Big difference. Does it drip? If it is just sweating, mine does that between the motor and trans. It sounds to me like they want to sell you something you don't need (waranty or labor) and if it is a month outside the warranty it probably started a month ago. If it was a Rolls Royce (comapable to the prices we pay for a HD motorcycle) I bet THEY would take care of it.
I talked to HD customer service today about my problem the told they would have to contact the dealer tomarrow they also asked me what after market parts and what mods were done
I put a PC V on it do you think they will think that caused the problem ?
I have a PCIII on mine and they didn't even mention it. In fact, when they had it apart the service tech asked me if I wanted to buy a cam since it would be free labor to put it in.
the pcv will not cause oil seepage... Frankly I would not spend 1500 bucks of which amounts to fixing a negligable seepage problem. Your not gonna notice any oil loss between oil changes so what's the big deal. You said yourself you can't even notice the leak visually. Lots probably have worse seepage on their auto engines, never worrying about it or knowing it.
