Hey how painful is it to change the gaskets on the rocker covers? Is it as easy as removing the tank and then the covers ???Or take it to the shop

Your first purchase, should be the service manual, since it sounds like you might want to wrench on your own bike.

... oh, and they're not bad.

You don't need to remove the tank, you can pull the bolts and lift it enough to do the job.
