Just got back from Supporting the usa economy in vegas yesterday.
Managed to win 700 usd so i went and bought some free parts from vegas harley .
In the parts i got a diamond back clutch cable.
So last night in takin off the side cover of the tranny and the oil coming out was milky .
So im thinking right away WATER IN MY TRANNY ???
It is water for sure ......So anyway i swap the cable and fluid .
It must be a bad o ring but it didnt look bad.
Ill get a new one today and run this new fluid for a week and dump it again to be safe
Anybody else ever have this happen to them???

I notice that you are in Calgary Canada, did the bike sit all 11 months of winter? Did you change the fluid prior to riding? it could of been condensation that built up from the heating and cooling of the bike. I could be water getting in from a bad seal or o-ring. I would change the fluid and check it again after riding some and see.
I forded a flooded river in WV several years ago and never gave a thought... rode another 165 miles home and trans was full of milk. Drained and flushed, 10 miles and repeated. Repeated evey 100 miles for 6 changes and still had a little residue in the primary and tranny fluid for years, but didn't hurt anything.
Not certain about the configuration on the later bikes, but basically there are only 2 places water can get in since you have no leaks.. well even if you did - the grommet where the alternator wires come thru the case and the vent (of course the fill hole too) The primary vents thru the tranny. I'd look around those two areas very closely. (grommet and vent)
