In honor of the monsoon season in North Mississippi. I'll change it if the weather ever breaks.

On a serious note, I would like to say THANK YOU to all the veterans and their families for protecting all of our freedoms!!!

Northern Mississippi is beautiful. I really enjoyed my three years in Oxford while attending law school at Ole Miss.

Does John Grisham still have his place on Hwy 6 just outside of town?

85* with little wind here in Eastern Washington. Can't wait to get on the bike! It doesn't snow ( I assume) where you're at so I guess it equals out.

Gary, Grisham still has that house but he does not live here anymore, I think he lives in Virginia now. That being said he was in town for graduation a couple of week ago to attend his son’s graduation. What year did you graduate?
Yso191, you are mostly right. We will get a small snow about once each winter. Usually melts the next day. It is hilarious here, if the weatherman mentions snow the grocery stores will be swamped and sold out of milk and bread (and for the smarter folks, BEER). One small snow and the schools close and life as we know it ceases.

Well that got a chuckle out of me. I wonder if those in Pullman or Spokane would say you're in 'Eastern' Washington. I have the same issue with the media types that say Iowa is in the heart of the midwest! I don't even think it is in the West, let alone the middle of it. For my money Colorado is the *beginning* of the west.

OK, off the soapbox & my apologies for the thread hijack.
