i dunno but my seat just is not comfortable to me. nevermind the little thing for the passenger. I didn't have a passenger but if I did I have a feeling she would have KILLED me. So I am looking into getting a cushy one for me and my passenger. thanks for the suggestions...Just now time to see hat my checkbook can afford
I had the stock SB solo plus the 9" HD rear on my bike for about a year. The wife was only good for about an hour on the back with the HD seat. She's not that big, 5'7", 120 maybe, and the she complained the foam would just compress and give out after about 30 minutes and then get real uncomfortable. I didn't have any problem with the stock SB solo, but after about 4 or 5 hours on the road it started to get uncomfortable also. I bought a Mustang Vintage Super Touring seat, and my wife loves it. We hit the road for 2 hours straight, the longest she as ever been in the saddle and she said she was still doing good. As for me, the Vintage seat is much more comfortable then the stock solo and riding the 400 miles back from MB Bike Week I was good to go all the way.
I also can say it doesn't look that bad on the bike either, much better I think then the sundowner.
Here are a couple of pics of the seat on the bike. Enjoy.
thanks I'll look into it. thats exactly what I am looking for. what backrest is that for the passenger? also does the saddle have an option for a backrest or do you just lean on your passenger?
