Thanks guys.
I went through five seats on my bike before I found one that is really comfortable for long stints in the saddle. From looking at it, you would think a big "road sofa" like the Sundowner would be more comfortable, but it's not. Nothing I've tried even comes close to the Mustang Regal Duke.
I had a sundowner on my sporty and it was really comfortable....
Surprisingly i found my stock dyna custom seat to be very comfortable.. We put on about 800 miles Fri, sat, mon riding down for the indy500 and tooling around indianapolis and back... Had no issues!
I've heard the sundowner called a lot of things..... thin hasn't been one of them
If you want something thicker, take a look at the tallboy. However, I also own a sundowner, and it is a very comfortable seat. But so is my Mustang vintage wide solo.

gotta go with Gary here. The seat does not look out of place like a touring seat and they are really comfortable. Unsure of the pillow look? They make a squareback as well. Same size only has a one piece look to it and no pillowing.
It's an expensive choice, but I went with a Corbin Dual Tour. My gal and I couldn't be happier. It's even more comfortable than the stock FXDF seat for me, and it's awesome as a passenger seat.
Just did 2000+ miles in 6 days with a stock glide solo. Not so bad. I do use the sundowner when the wife climbes on. Very comfy for both of us but i feel it put me to far forward.
Been thru 4 seats: stock FXD, SE leather, Sundowner, and now Mustang Vintage. Sundowner was very cushy but i really like the Mustang Vintage for great comfort and good looks.
