Default Powered by Singer Sewing Machine??

Was out for a short scoot cruising the neighborhood, and heard what could only be described as a "sewing machine" type ticking If I had to guess would be in the valve train. Not super loud, but noticeable over the wind and VH Anyone ever hear something similar in their bikes?? 08 Fatob here....

ticking can be quieted down with certain oil choices or by using Lucas oil stabilizer.

What they said about valvetrain noise.

I thought the thread was going to be about the Yami FJR, now that valvetrain sounds like a singer sewing machine, though a nuclear powered one.

All the time. Noticed today I could hear it in the distance as another bike approached, even on bikes with loud pipes. It's a machine, mechanical noise is gonna happen.
