how do i know you didnt correct your friend.....cause youre on a forum whining about how your friend revved your bike and all you could do was cringe cause he's a big football player
Wow this went down hill in a hurry. Skidder spent a few years up in Edmonton in the early 80's couldn't stand the Stamps Love the CFL lots of scoring. It won't harm the bike it probably didn't even redline.

Your on my list of posters I choose to ignore now. Except that avatar, can,t ignore that.
seriously you guys seriously, why even respond to something like this?
Skidder... do you really believe that harley makes such a poor product that one high rev (new or not) is going to break it. Lets apply some common sense.
Exactly, haven't you guys ever watched some of the shows about Harley Davidson Factory or anything else with an engine?
You engine, the one in your motorcycle has been "ran" and tested at the factory. Do you think they just start it for a few seconds and let it idle?
Your engine has been ran at high RPM's already BEFORE it was even installed in your bike.
And part of the dealer prep (once the bike arrives at the dealer and is being prepared for sale), they are supposed to ride it to make sure everything is in good shape. God forbid one of those guys reved the engine a little, guess no one every really knows.......
Sorry to be so sarcastic, but the question is just crazy.
Its weird for all the years i,ve been riding every now and then you here of or see this happen and cringe. I guess most of us have mechanical sympathy, unfortunately a few don,t. Would,nt want to buy anything mechanical off them though
