Full face helmet. Wipe the bugs off with your hand, preferably gloved.

LOL..I don't think anyone will call someone a wuss for using a windshield. At least I wouldn't. Maybe I will try it but I don't see me using it for riding around town or short runs. Maybe I like the abuse of being smacked around by the elements. lol

Heh, on my way too and from the bob run in milwaukee I rode with just my roll back and no windshield. There were some parts of PA I thought I was starting to get rained on because of how many bugs I was riding through.

Eh, all part of the experience, I don't ride with one but it sure would be nice.

There are also short range wireless headsets made specifically for motorcycle riders and passengers so they can talk to each other.

I don't have one so when I get behind a cager (car, SUV or truck), the dust they kick up makes my face feel like it's getting sandblasted!

I'm sure I'll be getting one when I have the money.

Try riding in Florida without a windshield during love bug season. These little bastards come in pairs and lots of them. I won a detachable windshield from my Harley dealer last christmas and havent taken it off since.

I prefer the looks without my QD compact, but i like to ride over 60 mph often which gets tiring after 10 or 20 minutes so I rather it on. cool weather like below 50 deg. is cold at that speed (wind chill factor) call me what you want ,just don't call me late for dinner!
