I just bought a quick detach windshield for my SB and I really hate the way it looks, but it does help out alot on the highway. I prefer to not ride with it on if I am cruising below 60mph.
Our weather turned hot the last couple of days so I took my W/S off for the first time in a couple years. Loved it! Went for a long ride through the back roads. But when I got on the highway to come home it sucked at those speeds. I think I'll be putting it back on before my next ride.
Wuss, wimp, whipped, ******, whiner, whatever; I like my 'shield!
Haha...I took my "wimpshield" off last week cuz the weather has been real nice and hot with light winds.
I was ridin' yesterday on a local hwy and wouldn't you know the winds started kicking up...I was beat up runnin' at 65-70....but the shield is still off for now.
Yea, I'm a wimp...the windshield has spoiled me, but it IS nice to ride without it ocassionally.
