+1 on the lower end upgrades. It sucks that the MOCO makes US fix their poor quality engineering on these bikes!

Do those things and your lower end will be as strong as the upper end. Just my opinion.

These guys are in my back yard might have to give them a call, The one thing is the "screaming chicken" is a reliable build have over 19k on her with only one starter issue which could have been prevented if I had a better starter or auto comp release. To get larger numbers on paper and be on the side of the road is not in my opinion an upgrade. Upgrade your bottom end when going larger or you will be on the side of the road.

Common expression I have read is how much more power many 95" ers put up than say 96" engines upsized to bigger cubes. Certainly may be so, but ya also gotta ask, where are those peak numbers, how wide is the big torque band, etc.

It's not just cubes that matter. Headwork, compression of the engine and cam work together to produce a broad torque curve.

Here is what I have in my 95" build:

HQ0033-G cam shown here

and the sport package shown here

Thinking it out logically, I wouldn't think the mileage would be that bad. The motor will no longer have to work as hard to, say, cruise at 55mph than it does in stock form. I'm sure you will lose a little mileage but not much unless you constantly run wide open from stop light to stop light.

I'm guessing down in the low 40's maybe high 30's depending on if your doing a lot of city riding. And yes, you will be on the gas more than you were before, so that doesn't help! When I did the stage 2, it was like the motor really woke up, but when I swapped cams and had the heads ported, it was like a whole new bike! The difference is night & day!

I did a 103 stage 3 kit last summer on a 2009 super glide custom... pleaty of reliable power the 10 1/2:1 pistons make a big difference. Like the other guy said make sure you buy the super tuner. My Dyno readings were just about the same.
