I had a 103 stage 3 kit installed and just had it on the dyno yesterday after 1 2,000 mile beak in. Results were 91.29 HP and 105.61 torque.
Bike is a 2009 FXDC.
Anyone thinking of an upgrade should consider the stage 3 kit with the Super Tuner included.
Whats the difference between stage 2 and stage 3??
I think the only difference is the cams. stage 2 comes with 255 cams & stage 3 comes with 251 cams. The stage 4 comes with 260 cams, 110" heads and a bigger throttle body.
My tekky at local HD says he can do a 103 on a 96" twincam like mine without big bore- just head work and cams. Which stage is that?
stage still a 96,the 103 is a big bore.why pull the heads and not make it a 103,after the heads are off theres nothing left to do but pull 2 circlips and pistons are off.

If you remove the pistons bigger ones won't fit without bigger cylinders, am i wrong? Any way I was skeptical too so I asked the parts guy and he concurred- head machineing and special cams and your 96" becomes 103 without changeing pistons or cylinders. They told me it runs about 1500$ can.

total b.s.,,yes you have to bore the cyls to go 103, here in tx most bore to 107, yankees havent figured that out yet.
