Just got my J&S jack
I bought the model with the large wheels and it rolls around the garage easily with the bike on it.
I'm very satisfied, fast shipping and well packed. It took about 10 minutes to unpack and set it up.

I bought a jack like that at Nortern Hydraulics for about $60 to $80 cheaper.
and if they are selling the same thing cheaper I'll send him there.
I'm looking for a jack for my 2006 Dyna Wide Glide, and really considering the J&S Jack.
I understand it fits the Dyna without needing the jack blocks that Harley sells. Do you have any photos of your Dyna on the Jack? I interested in how the bike is lifted without needing the Harley blocks? Is it really a easy one person operation? Will the jack work with other bikes too, or do you specifically order it for the Dyna? I'm going to give them a call tomorrow, but thought I'd check with you since you have it and use it first hand...
Sorry for so many questions, but I'm really looking for an easy-to-use & sturdy jack. I actually purchased the yellow Sears jack, and althoug it works... the bike seems to rock & wiggle forward & back on the jack... Not the most comfortable feeling. It's probably fine, but with this much money invested in a bike, I want to make sure my baby is secure when on the jack...
Thanks!
John
Sorry, didn't mean to say that the Sears jack was inferior. I dont think my bike is going to come crashing down off the jack, but there is definitely some flex from the front of the bike to the back (jack left to right...) and it is on a flat concrete surface. I definitely wouldn't want to sit on the bike while on the jack. Maybe I just haven't gotten the jack in the right spot on the frame, but the harley jack blocks will only fit in a few spots and I moved them around and experimented as much as I can... Maybe its just that the Wideglide is a longer bike, and the jack width is so small that it is going to flex... Maybe I got a bad one... Maybe I'm a moron...hehe... who knows, but I'm definitely not comfortable with the way its working now.
I'm open to any pointers you might have. The sears jack is definitely priced better, and I would really like for it to work as solidly as yours.
Cheers,
John

The sears yellow jack is a lower profile than the red one. I have a bad back so I was cautious the first time I did this. I bought the Harley Dyna blocks for one reason only. The slip onto the frame and stay there.
I put the blocks on the frame in the position shown on the sheet.
I get the jack ready to roll under the frame, no extention platforms.
The block on the left rear I pull on the bottom of it till the bottom is pointed at a 45 degree angle away from the Dyna.
I then sit and pull up the kick stand. Then I lean over and push down the block.
Now I grab the handle and roll the jack under.
I give it a couple of pumps till it makes contact.
Once it has I lean over to see if the jack is positioned on the blocks.
Then a few pumps and me and the Dyna go up.
I have really sat on mine while it was up.. setting my bars and stuff like that I weigh 190+ it didn't rock on me believe me I'd be off it in a heartbeat if it did... and I'd be pissed at myself if it fell... Anyways... WELCOME TO THE SITE...

Thanks for the Welcome and for the info... I just stumbled across this site this week while searching the web... So far, I'm really impressed.. A great site, with great folks... everyone seems so willing to help.
I'll give that method a try and see if it works for me... Maybe I'm putting the darn dyna blocks in the wrong spot or something... I'll double check my positioning of them and give it another try...
Thanks again,
John
