yeah, 77 plus shipping seems steep, especially for non DOT. At that point, I'd do my research for decent looking DOT and still probably save money.

Still looks like a bubble head to me.

I rather use a Daytona 3/4 or 1/2 helmet. They are DOT and have the smallest profile I have seen. The 1/2 helmet looks almost like a skid lid, but is DOT.

This is the one I use. They make a 3/4 also.

if you want a biltwell that is DOT approved they now have the hustler. Comes in flat black , flat silver, and flat copper. I have heard good things about them and read some good reviews. I cant speak for how low profile they are on the head however.
