Default Project Black FB next.....

So I finally got her all together got all the parts back from Powder and I really want to make her stand out there are a few mods that I want to add just wondering what you guys think I need or should add etc etc.. There are great looking bikes on this site and bunch of talented weekend warrior builders here so I am just looking for some direction on what to add to make her look like one bad *** custom FatBob..

Black Cover for the Big Sucker
Also gonna add the HD black floating rotors all around.
Add a 160 front tire
Do a shock mounted license plate frame
1 inch risers with a track style bar??
or pull the front fork legs up and run some clip ons???
If I dont do the clip ons lower the front end...
Lepera Bare Bones Seat with Pad??
Tank Lift or Not??

Also should I leave the headlight or do a Single SJP Headlight with some Lazer LED Bullets on each side like Exile Runs??

Any suggestion guys need some creative help..

The new FB...

clip ons are a KILLER IDEA!!! that would set that sucker off! my buddy made a set for me for my st bob and i ended up not using them (actually gave/sent them to a buddy with a fat bob in missouri, i can see if i can get you pics) he loves them! he just works alot so it is hard to get ahold of him... and his technical skills (sending pics) are just not there... anyway, they would look insane!

Yeah bro I really want to do the clip ons but I think I may be leaning way to foward especially with the Fb and my short arms... If I can slide the legs up the clip ons may sit perfect for me where I am not leaning that much. Yeah man if you can get me some pics that would be killer especially since he has a FB.... How come u got rid of yours the clipons?? So what do you think I will be able to slide the legs up and run the clip ons that way..

try a black cut down football cover on the sucker,
you could put a cd on there for now. I'm runnin a 150 up front, it's the biggest you can
fit under the fender. ( notice you are not using one ) something to consider if you put
it back on. don't think clip on's will work with forwards. just don't go ape.
only bit of your bike i don't like is the rear fender.

Your bike looks fantastic !!!! I'm biased however. Myownself, I would chuck the Ben Hur chariot front wheel spikes. Love those powder coated wheels!

Thnx guys.. Yeah I want to do at least a 160 I never run a front fender so I am not worried there.. In the future I will do a diff rear fender I actually dont mind it that much reminds me of my dads old 87 Softail Custom.... Used to love that bike he had a super high sissybar with a kingqueen seat all ripped up bungy cords everywhere.... So for now I am just cleaning her up with the dremel and running the flush LED taillight I am not beat to pay $250 for the Tri-Bar you know....

I love my Ben-Hur Spikes...LOL

No prob, Yeah I was looking at the clubbam bars but I am looking for more of a track style bar or I might do a dirtbike style alumiunium bar with some narly block style risers.... Not sure...

What do you think about the wheels brotha... I think they came out pretty good but if i pull the gun on some new joints what you think go with a PM styler wheel black and contrast cut in lets say 18's Fr and R or go with blacked out Fat daddy Spokes or even a traditional spoke wheel in 16's????

I think your bike is already bad ***, but since you asked, I think clip-ons may look killer but you will probably get sick of the position quickly. Plus, they don't make as much sense if you do a lot of 2-up riding. A cool dirt-track style bar for low bucks is the Night Rod Special bar like crooky and a few others use. I think it goes for around $60 from HD.
And as much as I like the FXDF I still don't quite like the dual headlights; however they are a key design element of that bike and they work especially well on yours. So I could go either way but don't be in a big hurry to change that.
I'd stick with your current wheels for a while. They're different enough from stock to set your bike apart and will look even better with your proposed black-center floating rotors. (but when you take the plunge, the first place to look is PM/RSD for some contrast cut wheels)

+1 on chucking the Ben Hur chariot front wheel spikes. The look a little cheesy... Rest of the bike looks badass... I really like the idea of clip-ons or clubman bars (if your arms are long enough for the stretch).
