I have ordered vance and hines straightshots for my bob. Listed for dynas up to 05. I have forward controls and a pc111 with O2 eliminators. I have done some measuring on an 04 and they look like their gonna bolt right up. Has anyone tried to use an older system on a bob?

Have you tried calling there tech line #562 921 7461 or email tech@vanceandhines.com. I called them in 1999 when i wanted to put straight shots on my wide glide.

I have read a ton of posts, asked dealerships and tech support. I spoke with vance and hines tech support, but they couldn't confirm that the pipes wouldn't fit for sure. It seems that no one has really tried it or I haven't talked to the right person. I see that this question was asked before on this site. Well allow me to be the guinea pig. I ordered the pipes and their on their way! If it works out my bob will finally be exactly the way I want it. Wish me luck! I will posts some pics if it works out. If not I'll probably throw a wrench through the windshield of my van. Wouldn't be the first time a spent hours working on a bike to end up right back where I started!

forgot my password, they changed my login as well.
The verdict is in. I got the pipes on. The front pipe bolted right on. The rear pipe was more difficult. I had to modify the bracket to get it on. A little cutting and drilling. My bike is done. For this week anyway! I had it dyno tuned yesterday. 78 horse and 81 torque. Runs like a champ.
