Default What were the 2009 Dyna upgrades?

Can anyone tell me what HD did to upgrade the Dyna models (especially the SuperGlide) for 2009 - in comparison with 2008? Thanks folks.

i'm with you on this,I rode an 09'SB on the Demo Truck day & it rode way smoother than my 07'FXD,so much so, that it's back in the dealers to find out if there's anything wrong.

You can go to HD's site and view the 2008 and 2009 models. Print out the specs and compare.

That only gives spec/model changes, dosen't give production/material upgrades.

Rich, if you are talking about the "r 26", it's the bike tellin you that you only have 26 miles of fuel left. Below 10 miles, it just says "Low". Check out the Owners Manual for this one.

I don't think there were any substantive changes to the Dyna line (except for the Street Bob) from 08 to 09.

I believe they lowered the stock afr from 14.7 to 14.5, but not aware of much else. I installed O2IED's on my 09 and notice little if any difference in how the bike runs. I'm leaving them in because I feel better with a 14.0 average afr, but the bike couldn't run any better with or without the IED's.

Now that it's got about 1200 miles on it, I can say things are really smoothing out. No land speed records with this bike (or any HD), but satisfying pull through the gears, and vibration is minimal.

Yup, I forgot about that. Steve at Nightrider did tell me the 09s were coming from the factory a tad richer.
