I have a 2007 street bob and when I go over any bump on the road I hear a bang , like steel on steel . This happens at all speeds, I was only going about 15 miles per hour trying to find it and it still happens on every bump at that speed . It is hard to isolate the noise while trying to drive but it sounds like it is in front of me somewhere, did anyone have anything like this happen and what was it. I checked everything and can,t see anything loose anywhere

 

Easy things to check for 1) the fuel tank mounting bolts, check for tightness, @0 the rubber bumper for the jiffy stand may have moved and now the jiffy is hitting the frame, and 3) have the dealer check your steering neck bearings.
