Default thinkin bout another cam change

been thing about changing my andrews 26h cams and getting the andrews 37h cams..last time i did the change i didnt use the adjustable pushrods but this time im going to..are they hard to adjust and get right..im not worried about the cam install, they were fairly easy to remove and install but last time i pulled alot of parts off the bike and im not wanting to do that on this cam change..i got about 1865 miles on the 26h cam so there in good shape but i think i will be much happier with the 37's..what do you guys think

I'm getting ready to install those cams soon as well as sending my heads to big boyz, My ? is what componets did you remove the first time that you thought were unnessasary that you won't have to remove them this time? I assume this time you want to cut the push rods out?

I used my stock pushrods, the least amount of adjustments I have "that might come undone" the better. I think the stock ones are lighter also. I thought about advancing my 37's 4 degrees but I'm glad I didn't. That was a well spent $300. I gotta a bang for my bucks.

the 1st cam change i did on my bike i had to remove the tank..remove the rocker covers . i had to do that in order to reuse the stock pushrods..this time i will cut the stock one out and reuse the adjustable ones.. it would save me from haveing to remove the tank and rocker covers..

hddave2,

I think you're really going to like the TW37's. You'll feel the cam come on pretty low in the RPM's. I rode the 37's for a while (eventually moved to the Andrews 55's and finally the Wood TW9F as I changed the motor) and really liked the improved torque.
