I'm 5'8" 295 lbs,I ride a lowrider,I thought the same thing before I bought it.I didn't get it for approval from someone else,I got it because I liked it.If you like it ,buy it,and enjoy it.Who gives a crap what others think.When it comes down to it,a dyna dosn't have that much less gvwr than a touring model does.

im also 6 ft at 240. i have no problems.
