I'm going to be towing my Fat Bob down South on an open trailer this summer. I don't want to expose the bike to the highway debris. However putting my cover on it is going to rub against the paint and scratch it.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Someone told me I can get special blankets to cover the bike then put a cover on it. Anyone hear of this of do something similar?
"Special blankets"? Why not just use some blankets from the house, followed by your bike cover? Much more cheaper. Is getting a covered trailer out of the question? Or build a wall on the front of the trailer to block the debris from hitting the bike. Also, your bike is gonna get scratched by road debris when (if) you ride it. Hope that doesn't freak you out.
