tach on 1 1/4 bars
Been looking forever for a tach mount to fit 1 1/4 bars without spending
big bucks, there are some nice mounts out there, but for money than I want to spend. Got the tach and mount from a buddy in trade for work on his springer . took the springer mount and put each half in a vice with a piece
of 1 1/4 pipe with rubber belting and pressed until each half fit the pipe and it worked without cracking the chrome so with the mount fitting the bars I got it on tonite . And D@@@@@@@@n it had to raise the tank up in the
back and while unhooking the fuel line that plastic connector just had
to break !!! I can feel the hose clamp trick happening now.
But anyhow thanks to KPreese for his how to on hooking wiring on the tach
quick and simple The search button does work!!!!

Glad it worked out for ya! I was trying to mount a tach on mine with billet mounts, but couldnt find one that would work perfect. I ended up using a shift light and a small bracket to mount mine. It looks a little more suttle for the guy who pulls up next to me!
