stock tire bald

ya its bald as crap at 9100 miles,,i mean bald,,im trying to save it till my 10000 service but chit i dont think its going to make it!!!!!!

I wish mine lasted 9100 miles!!! I'm running metzeler 880's and I'm only getting about 5k out of the rear! The front has about 8k on it, but still looks good.

These ain't cars or trucks. You won't get 40,000 on them even if you drive them like a cage. Do you? I am thinking 10000 tops. Got 8500 on my sporty and it is starting to scare me

I don't think it unreasonable to expect 12K out of a tire. Gotta say this is the first time that I've bought a bike whose stock tires outmatched the capabilities of the bike...

i have ran both metzlers and dunlops. 9100 out of the rear is about right. i am running metzlers now and am going to switch back to dunlops next change. might as well spend my money to an american company if all else is the same. i'm on my 2nd set of me880's and i like them fine but i dont think they are any better than a dunlop...good luck\\
