It's one of the things that happen when you outsource the manufacturing of your product to a "low cost country". Bottom line looks great for making it cheaper, until your customers/clients start going elsewhere because you're just like everybody else now, and your product is crap.
Aside from that though, it's hard for an unsupported solder joint (no strain/stress relief) to stand up to that kind of vibration. Screw the silicone... solder it back in with a very good solder joint, and epoxy that sucker. BTW, a good solder joint should be formed with a nice slope, and should be fairly shiny. If it's not shiny, but kinda dull, it's what is called a "cold" solder joint, meaning it didn't get hot enough to flow right.
I did a quick search here and a general net search and this seems to be a very common problem. I am not sure why they have not addressed it with a better design, other than that would cost money. I may solder it back together just to see if I can but I doubt it will go back on the bike and I would hate to sell a piece of junk like this to someone else.
Dude,
Don't over-react!
I had the same happen to me. Got with my buddy Kev and we soldered the wires back on to the board. If you can't do it, google for a local electrical shop and they will be able to hook it up for you way better than new. hat was 2 years ago for me and it is still working great. Mine happened in less than a year. I also notice that alot of water gets in there and trying to think of a way to end that too...Will post when I have a decent solution bro.
Good Luck and you will be fine dude.

Many people assume the warranty on such products is 1 year but the Panacea tail light has a 2 year warranty. You didn't mention how old it was so I'm just tossing that out there.
I had an early version of that light that had a few LEDs go out just after a year and the warranty paper stated "1 year" so I emailed Kury about my dissatisfaction and they sent a replacement which stated "2 years" in the paperwork.
