LOL! Happens real easy don't it. I got a feeling you'll like them tw-8-6 cams better...the 7's are great, but the 8's will benefit better from your headwork & higher compression (carry out a little more) while still makin a solid botom. They are very simillar to my t-man 590's.

Looks nice, I used to play with Volkswagens years ago. A little porting, new valves, performance cam, could get you 15-25 more HP easily.

When my warranty runs out may play around with the bike a little. Thinking a higher volume oil pump and rigging a Jagg cooler with a thermostatic controlled fan. South Korea can get hot coupled with stop and go traffic, it's and oil killer. I change it every other month in the hot season.

Do you have a pic of the intake and exhaust port on that head? I saw Tiges and it really gets me thinkin (dangerous for me).

Why not keep the 37's and save a few bucks? They would work really good in the 95" build. Very nice all around cam! https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...o-results.html

That wouldnt be a problem at all. 96"=3.75" bore, 103"=3.875", and lots of guys now boring them out to 3.937" for a 107"! Alot of the big builders are going out that far, if they had heat issues they would have stopped by now. 103" would be fine! I wish I had bored out to the 3.937" and had a 98" vs a 95". Next year I am going to try and go with a 107" all bore on my 88" crank. I would be using Axtell cylinders and boring the cases though.

Here Steve, photography is not my best atribute !
Intake

Exhaust

The majority of the porting takes place on the intake side. HD restricts the intake port possibly for EPA reasons. The exhaust port is fairly large to begin with and it just gets cleaned up. It's not a big size port you want, what you want is the best velocity. Bigger is not always better in this case. Don

I'm sure you already know this, but I read an article on one of the performance webs sites which showed how the factory header gaskets sometimes compressed into the exhaust port negating some of the flow that you spent so much money trying to achieve. It showed an aftermarket gasket that was a little trickier to install but would prevent the gasket from bulging into exhaust flow. I wish I could find the link, know I saved it but can't find it now.

Good Luck

Tom
