I've heard that also and when I pulled my pipes 2X I checked them and It was not a problem for me with factory gaskets.

The porter (Don Dorfman at Head Designs by Dewey) supplied me with both intake(.030 cometic) and exhaust gaskets.The exhaust gaskets will not squish enough to interfere with the exhaust port. That should answer your ? too Ackman!

Thanks Don, I can see the exhaust fine, not much of the intake other than the short radius which looks real good from the vantage point. I dont know much of the big twin science it may be different from what I have learned. Your right on the mark with velocity on the intake, bigger runner slows things down but a large exhaust port is a good thing. Looks like a good head.
