Idiot light / dash panel R & R
Hi all, just bought a chrome dash and after taking the headlamp and dash panel off, could not find where the wires for the idiot lights plug in. It is a fixed wire (ie does not unplug from the light fixture) and removal is necessary to pull the light fixture through and out of the old, then through the new. Without removing the tank it appears the wiring harness goes down the frame rail, but after removing the seat, I still can't find a plug. Does anyone know where this goes, or do I need to cut the wires and solder after R & R of the panel? Appreciate the help!
