Cleaned up bars
looking good man... i am cleaning my bars up this winter. were u able to keep the brake light switch for the front brake? and if so, how did you do it? one thing i havent figured out yet.
I could have kept the switch, but I'm going to put an in-line switch about midway the length of the brake line. I cut off the little tab on the brake lever to slide the throttle housing flush with the master cylinder.
looks awesome brother, as always! but you got to do something about that dash, thows off the whole tank and top end, you got nothing wrinkle black... i honestly thing you shoudl toss that in the oven and color match the tank... if not gloss black would work too...man i am loving how your bike is coming! what up on that cafe, you get HD fever like me and let dust collect on it?!
That dash irritates the crap outa me! I need to blast it and get it coated. Funny you should ask about the Cafe....the ol lady is givng me grief about working on one and not the other!
thanks for the info. think i am gonna do the same with mine. maybe a banjo bolt swtich. should work on the front as well as the back.
still gotta go find a dual cable throttle housing and i am ready to start.

I bought the cheapy $12 throttle housing. Its not made for newer cables so I had to drill out the threaded side. The other side is fine. Once the cables are adjusted right, everything works fine.
