Default Alarm location

Your alarm siren module runs direct from the bikes battery and the internal battery is a backup if someone tries to cut the power to the alarm. So it would work if the internal battery is bad as long as the bikes main battery is charged. The siren module is a seperate unit from the main alarm and is located on bikes left side mounted with double sided tape on bottom of electrical box {most bikes}. Be sure to check for good connection. And on my bike 08 Superglide custom i get to the mail alarm by removing the seat. Good luck.
