The brackets are bolt on but the saddlebags lock to the brackets and hence after unlocked will come right off. They take about 15-20 seconds to put back on.
Very nice,(best ones I've ever had, whole set up bags and brackets $500) speaking of the Tek Leather bags for me anyway and the Ghost brackets.

jr, those look suspiciously like ghost brackets....

http://www.ghostbrackets.com/

I notice on the link they mention selling EDGE bags.....

I just bought a set of these bags for the wifes V Star, along with some easybrackets-

http://www.leatherneckjims.com/shop/...2486a8a1926045

But I read the ghost brackets kick the bag out a little more to prevent any possible rubbing issues, so I'm leaning toward them for my hog. Wanted to hear some feedback from people that might already have some qr brackets already on, and maybe other options.

Edge brackets were formally known as ghost brackets.

"CAO Distributing, Inc., the new & exclusive manufacturer and distributor of Edge Brackets (formerly known as Ghost Brackets Generation III) "

I did not know that. Interesting.......so I assume the Edge and the Ghost III are the same, just a name change, so to speak?
